Elkins is a leading roofing, new build, refurbishment and planned maintenance construction company. Family owned since 1963, we work for private and public sector clients in London and the South East, delivering high quality construction projects for commercial organisations, local authorities, housing associations, schools and hospitals.

Elkins has developed its reputation for quality, value and fairness over six decades and two generations of family ownership. It is a reputation we’re extremely proud of. Originally established in 1963 as a roofing contractor by brothers Arthur and Edward, the company has grown to become a large, successful family-owned business. Today, Arthur’s children, Ray and Glenis, run the company with the same strong family ethos that their father and uncle did. One of Ray’s passions is to invest in local communities and this forms a key part of every bid we submit, with local communities providing over 60 per cent of our workforce and supply chain.

At Elkins, our people are our greatest asset. Many of our team members have been with us for 10, 15, and even 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to every project.
