Major works refurbishment

Throughout London and the south east, Elkins provides planned refurbishment and major works contracts in partnership with local authorities, housing associations, schools, colleges and the NHS, as well as private landlords. Our contracts are tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients and to deliver value for money, exceptional customer service and social value.

Elkins has a designated major works refurbishment division, bringing together sector-leading experience to deliver complex buildings and infrastructure refurbishment projects. This has enabled us to be long-term partnering contractors to various London Boroughs, where our collaborative working ethos has led to successful framework contract delivery.

Conservation projects

Elkins began working in the conservation and listed buildings sector when the company was very first established as a specialist roofing contractor in 1963. These types of works bring unique challenges in design development, project management and delivery, so we ensure that specialist teams are involved from concept and feasibility stages, right through to delivery and aftercare. We have full appreciation of the requirements of Heritage England and National Trust as well as an unrivalled understanding of the associated planning and buildings regulations.
