Quantity Surveyor – Basildon Office
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Elkins team as a Quantity Surveyor, working across multiple projects in Basildon.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial function on our £12m Basildon Temporary Accommodation Scheme, overseeing financial performance across both pre-construction and delivery phases. The project involves the installation of pre-constructed modular housing units supported by enabling and infrastructure works.

Main Qualifications & Experience:
Degree or Foundation Degree in Quantity Surveying
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the housing sector for a Main Contractor
Experience with Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) advantageous
Location: This role will be based at our Basildon office (Jupiter Business Centre, Paycocke Road) and onsite across our Basildon projects, with flexibility to work across other projects as required.
